Siplec is a major player in the E.Leclerc movement.
Siplec, specializing in the development and sourcing of E.Leclerc’s private label (MDD) fashion, clothing, and household goods, is responsible for ensuring product information is available for online and mobile sales.
To maintain its market position and remain efficient and competitive, Siplec uses Centric 8 PLM expert software from Centric Software to:
- Collaborate effectively with its suppliers through the management of calls for tenders.
- Propose product innovations for the various private label brands (Tech9, Esquisse, Tissaia, etc.), clearly defined in structured specifications.
- Guarantee product quality and timely shipments through collaboration with laboratories that validate product compliance with customs regulations.
The contexte
Specializing in data collection and management, Siplec collaborates closely with its client and colleague, Galec, part of the same E.LECLERC group.
Collaboration and performance are the key principles for ensuring a sustainable and healthy partnership between the two entities.
To maintain its market position and remain efficient and competitive, Siplec uses expert PLM software.
GALEC recently decided to implement the Alice Reference Data project, thereby facilitating product management and sales management with its suppliers.
It is in this context that Siplec decided to optimize its collaborative processes with Galec by ensuring the reliability of product information exchange with their Alice Offers sales management tool.
The objective was to:
- identify any resistance to change among business teams and any potential functional gaps related to the version upgrade.
- analyze possible solutions in collaboration with the internal IT team and/or publishers, and formulate concrete recommendations.
The mission
As part of our mission to optimize the private label product marketing process, we undertook the following actions for our client:
- We were tasked with leading various workshops aimed at formalizing processes, identifying pain points and quick opportunities for making Siplec or Galec offerings available, as well as facilitating order submissions within the Alice program.
- Our role also involved monitoring decision records and implementing improvement action plans, including quick wins and development projects, to ensure the secure launch of non-food trials for the Alice program.
- In parallel, we validated the development of solutions in close collaboration with the business teams and defined the roadmap with the IT teams.
