The project
AIGLE International SA, in its quest to improve the reliability of its operating margin, chose to partner with CEGID for the effective use of Orliweb ERP tools.
To address these operational excellence challenges, 🦅Aigle International SA selected the experts at 💎Cristal Optimisations 💎to audit manufacturing costs and support the methods department teams in updating the production operating procedures for the iconic boots, a testament to the brand’s century-old expertise.
Thanks to the methodology used to update the technical data, they were able to optimize planning and improve the responsiveness of the production site.
The context
In a demanding industrial environment, Aigle sought to improve its operating margin while preserving the quality of its boots, the product of a century-old expertise.
However, the company faced several challenges:
- production data that needed updating (processing instructions, manufacturing times),
- the need to improve the use of its Cegid Orliweb ERP system,
- and the need to improve the accuracy of manufacturing costs.
In this context, optimizing work methods and tools became essential to:
- better plan production,
- improve responsiveness,
- and secure overall profitability.
This is why the company called upon Cristal Optimisations to structure its processes and improve the performance of its industrial operations.
The Mission
As part of our mission to optimize work methods, we undertook the following actions at our client’s site:
- Supporting the methods teams in time tracking and balancing the time spent on the various boot manufacturing operations.
- Supporting the methods teams in updating the production ranges in CEGID’s Orliweb ERP system.
- Coordinating the transition from the old production ranges to the new ranges to ensure more accurate manufacturing costs and operating margins, which meet Aigle International SA‘s key operational objectives.
